As Agency Vice President of Investments at Fortress Wealth Architects, Michael Cutbirth focuses on assisting clients in designing an investment strategy based on their wants. Because the market is constantly evolving, Michael is motivated by a perpetual search for the truth about how money works rather than various opinions or strategies that have proven successful in the past.
Michael has been working in the financial services industry since 1986. He has obtained licenses for FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 65, as well as his Group 1 Life and Health Insurance License. He is a designated ChFC® (Chartered Financial Consultant®) and has also obtained designations as a CRPC® (Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠) and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Michael attended Texas A&M University, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.
Michael appreciates the opportunity to educate people about how money truly works. He is ready and willing to answer any questions, doubts, or concerns a client may have about their financial future in order to minimize financial stress levels and put a smile on their face. In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with loved ones, reading, barbecuing, watching sports, and occasionally staffing weekend retreats for high school youth. Michael currently lives in Richmond, Texas with his wife Dana, where they are active members of St. Laurence Catholic Church. They have four adult children and love spoiling their nine grandchildren.
